A Pinch of Salt
11am-4pm at SALT at Our Kaka’ako, 660 Ala Moana Blvd., Honolulu

Danny and Nicholas Kaleikini’s Holiday Concert
6:30pm and 9:30pm, Blue Note Hawaii, 2335 Kalakaua Ave. Honolulu
Listen to legendary Hawaiian musician Danny Kaleikini collaborate on stage with his grandson Nicholas. Tickets

DECEMBER 8-20

The Billabong Pipe Masters
Ehukai Beach Park, Haleiwa
Head to the North Shore for The Billabong Pipe Masters, the final stop of the Vans Triple Crown and the final event of the WSL Men’s World Tour. The iconic and historic wave, the Banzai Pipeline is often referred to as the best wave on the planet and not only is it the perfect wave for those willing to charge, but also for the spectators on the beach. DECEMBER 10

The Honolulu Marathon
various locations, throughout Honoulu

Cheer on more than 30,000 runners as they race towards the finish line. The Honolulu Marathon is the fourth largest marathon in the U.S. held every year on the second Sunday of December. More info

The Shins

Rock out with this American rock band that Rolling Stone credited with bringing back “the pop traditions of 1960s pop bands—groups like the Zombies, and the Beach Boys—to a new generation of music fans.”  Tickets

DECEMBER 18-20

Donavon Frankenreiter

Listen to the soulful sounds of professional surfer-turned-musician Donavon Frankenreiter’s as he plays songs from his latest album, “The Heart.” Tickets

DECEMBER 24

Hawaii Bowl

Get in on the action at the Hawai’i Bowl—the 15th annual post-season college football bowl game, played annually since 2002. Tickets and more info

DECEMBER 27

Mike Love & The Full Circle
9:30pm, Hawaiian Brian’s, 1680 Kapiolani Blvd., Honolulu
Jam with reggae’s rising star, Oahu-born and -based musician Mike Love. His music draws inspiration from many genres but ties it all together by the common goal of making the world a better place.  Tickets and more info

New Year’s Eve at the Surfjack
9pm-1am, The Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club, 412 Lewers St., Honolulu
Boogie down at the Surfjack and join us for our second annual New Year’s Eve party. Let go of the past and revel in what’s to come with a festive feat of surprise performances, psychotropic vibes, and your favorite dance anthems of past and present by Saint Heron resident DJ and producer Kyle Woods (LA).
