Pro tip: Get the car
Parking in Waikīkī can be rough, but not here. Our overnight parking is just $20+tax per night, so renting a car is absolutely worth it. With the keys in hand, you’re free to explore the island on your own time.

Cruise the coastline, stop at scenic lookouts, and pull off for fresh fruit stands, quiet beaches, or vintage surf towns that feel like stepping back in time. A full island drive is a must—pass through Waimānalo, Kailua, and up to the North Shore, where summer swells are gentle enough to paddle out before the winter waves come rolling in.

Prefer to pedal?
Grab a city bike and cruise through Waikīkī at golden hour, or follow the Ala Wai canal to see a quieter side of the city. Whether you’re riding, walking, or paddling out, August offers the perfect balance of sunshine and serenity to get out there without the rush.
