FEBRUARY 7-9

Donavon Frankenreiter
Blue Note Hawaii, 6:30 and 9:30pm at 2335 Kalakaua Ave., Honolulu
Though his professional career started in surfing, Donavon Frankenreiter began playing music seriously after moving to Kauai. He gravitates toward Hawaiian instruments like slack key guitar, lap steel and ukulele, integrating them into his own surf-rock sound. Tickets & more info

FEBRUARY 8-17

POW! WOW! Hawaii

Artists and musicians gather in Kaka’ako to create new murals and installations. The festival includes a music showcase, a block party alongside the Honolulu Night Market, an exhibition curated by Thinkspace, artist talks, screenings, indoor soccer tournaments with Kicks to the Pitch and Paradise Soccer Club, break dancing battles with the Endless Summer Jam, as well as an Eminem concert at Aloha Stadium. Schedule & more info

Aloha Home Market

Scoop up one-of-a-kind gifts made in Hawaii, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Also expect the first ever Puppy-Love-a-Palooza, featuring dog-centric vendors , a canine costume contest and other fun doggie activities! Aloha Home Market is Hawaii’s premier quarterly pop-up market and showcase for unique local treasures and finds (think furniture makers, artisans, jewelry makers, clothing designers, food vendors and more). Run for Beer – Waikiki Brewing Co.

Join HI Brewery Running Series at Waikiki Brewing Co. in Kaka’ako for a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at one of Oahu’s beloved breweries. Weave through the surrounding streets at whatever pace you like and expect a locally brewed beer waiting for you at the finish line! Tickets & more info

FEBRUARY 16

Super CW Life Celebration
5pm-12am at The Republik, 1349 Kapiolani Blvd. #30, Honolulu
Celebrate the life of one of Honolulu’s most beloved DJ, blogger, promoter and personality—Christa Wittmier aka Super CW. Christa recently lost her battle with cancer and this event is an opportunity to celebrate her life in a venue she loved with so many contributors and artists that loved her. Expect special performances by local favorite girl gang of DJs—Gnaraly, Jem, Tittahbyte and Yoozilla—a live performance by Johnny Helm and special guests, an aerial burlesque performance by Jesa Simpkins and the Volary Vixens, a live art and auction by Jasper Wong of Pow! FEBRUARY 19

Full Moon Power Yoga
5:45-7:15pm, 2743 Kalakaua Ave. (between the Barefoot Beach Cafe and the Waikiki Aquarium), Honolulu
Watch the sun set and enjoy the first full moon of 2019 emerge while you practice yoga on the beach. This is a special 90-minute class that consists of 60 minutes of power vinyasa yoga and 30 minutes of restorative yoga set to music. CRAFT, a Hawaii Craft Beer Festival

Support Hawaii’s independent craft brewers at this festival featuring beer made with ingredients and agricultural products sourced from local farmers. Presented by Hawaiian Craft Brewers Guild, independent breweries will showcase 25+ different craft beers from across the state. Tickets & more info

FEBRUARY 28

Naked Cow Cheese-Making Class
6-8pm, Salt at Our Kakaako, 691 Auahi St. (Revolusun Showroom), Honolulu
Cheese lovers, unite! Waianae’s Naked Cow Dairy Farm & Creamery now offers cheese making classes, where participants can learn the entire hands-on process, followed by a wine and cheese tasting. Tickets & more info
