THE RECAP: SUMMER AT THE SWIM CLUB VOL IV

We kicked off summer 2018 with this season’s first #SummerAtTheSwimClub. In case you aren’t familiar, these are the series of pool parties that focus on bringing the community together by featuring a mix of music, art, craft cocktails and more. (Check out last year’s lineup here, here and here.)
For Volume IV, The Lucky Kidz and Dj Godiva got the party started with poolside sounds. Partygoers lounged in and out of the water and sipped on specialty cocktails while shopping for Issa de Mar swimwear and other summer essentials from Da Fin and Ha’a Keaulana.
For a touch of tropical flair, The CUT Kaka’ako served up ice cold coconuts and weaved Papāle, and one of our favorite floral artists, Pamakane aka Ocean Dreamerr, created stunning lei po’o.
Proceeds from the pool party benefitted Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii. Thanks to the support of our community, we raised over $700 (in terms of their educational program, that means almost 150 kids educated, and in terms of beach cleanups, that’s equivalent to 700lbs of trash removed).
