The curated shop of beach-inspired fashion is located at the Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club.HONOLULU, HAWAII (June 9, 2016) – Kailua-based Olive boutique, known for women’s fashion, and Oliver, known for menswear, have joined hands in unity as Olive & Oliver, at Waikiki’s Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club. Open to hotel guests and passersby, Olive & Oliver carries a combination of men’s and women’s apparel and hosts an on-site artisanal coffee bar.
Founded by entrepreneurial husband and wife team, Ali McMahon and Parker Moosman, the duo hand-pick each item inspired by Waikiki’s iconic surf culture. With a focus on beach essentials, select merchandise includes beach cover-ups and board shorts, sunscreen and fun gift items chosen for guests to remember their time spent in Hawaii.
The boutique stocks playful and comfortable Surfjack branded goods designed in collaboration with Honolulu branding agency Wall-to-Wall Studios, and highlight new styles seasonally. Feeling right at home in the design-led Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club, Olive & Oliver already has plans to team up with local artists on styling unique beach wares.
“It’s important for us to offer quality product and design,” says the couple. The boutique features items by Honolulu artist Andrew Mau, whose custom Moana Vanity mirrors adorn the Surfjack’s guestroom bathrooms, and his handmade shaka wallpaper that lines Chef Ed Kenney’s Mahina & Sun’s restaurant interior.
