ON VIDEO: Reimagining Waikīkī

More than 600 people from the Surfjack community were presented with an alternative look at our current way of life through the interactive contemporary art project: Reimagining Waikīkī. For two nights only, the Surfjack hosted a variety of artists to bring important issues to the forefront of our minds through a creative lens—think the harm due to our plastic consumption, the advantages of slowing down and experiencing things in analog, colonization and more.

In case you missed it, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibitions.

Read a more in-depth recap of the exhibits here. And for more info about the artists and the exhibits check out this post.
