Tasting Room: Pau Vodka

This week, Nicole Jones of Youngs Market and Robert Bidigare will be pouring out local cocktails featuring Pau Maui Vodka. Nicole will discuss why pineapples make a great base for vodka, and how the Pau family is moving into the world of Gin.

PAU Maui is distilled from Maui Gold Hawaiian pineapples, yet there is no hint of pineapple flavor in the finished product. The pineapples provide a nice, clean mash to start from. Once distilled, it is mixed with crystal clear Hawaiian spring water.
