Celebrating Jack: Our Furry Ambassador on the Cover of Island Dog Magazine!

We have pawsitively exciting news to share—our beloved in-house pup, Jack, has been featured on the cover of Island Dog Magazine! We’re over the moon to see Jack, our three-year-old French/English Bulldog, recognized as the canine sensation he is. His journey from a tiny pup to the heart of the hotel and local community has been pure doggy magic.
Jack was born on October 26, 2020, and it was love at first sight when our General Manager, Lyn, and her husband Bulla, met him at just five weeks old. By December 2020, Jack had joined the Surfjack family, bringing joy and warmth during the holiday season. His presence was a gift to all of us, and he quickly became the first employee with fur, winning the hearts of guests and staff alike.
Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday, Jack hosts his special Guest Meet and Greet in the cabanas, where he showers our guests with aloha and kisses. His daily walks around our iconic “Wish You Were Here” pool have become a ritual. Jack loves meeting guests, especially the little ones who can’t resist his adorable kisses. He looks forward to meeting you and your pup while you’re enjoying a staycation or meal on the lanai at Mahina & Sun’s.
